My favorite high school memory is attended wedding ceremony of my class teacher. After I graduated from my high school, my class teacher got married. The day was very wonderful. I arranged to meet my classmates in front of PARCO in the day. We wore school uniform even though we graduated from high school. I didn’t think that I could wear school uniform after graduated, so I was very excited. We went to lunch with my classmates. We went to restaurant, “R・K・T’s”. The dishes of the restaurant were very delicious. I often go to the restaurant. Then we went to KKR hotel. The wedding ceremony held in the hotel. We sang a song “samba of ladybug.” This song is famous as wedding sing. I like this song. My class teacher was very beautiful. I was moved very much. I attend wedding ceremony for the first time

[TH 14] My favorite junior high memory

The best memory in junior high school is gone to Okinawa as school trip. I went to Okinawa for the first time, so I was very excited. I went to there when I was second grader in junior high school. I was acting as an executive committee of the school trip. I went to there in three nights and four days. The school trip was wonderful trip. I could go to various places in Okinawa. I and my friends went to Churaumi aquarium. It was very large aquarium. I was impressed. I watch many fishes. I could watch a dolphin show for the first time. I think that dolphin is intelligent. I ate Soki soba. It is the Okinawa noted product. It is delicious. The sea of Okinawa is very beautiful! I wanted to swim in the sea, but I couldn’t because I went to Okinawa in winter. Second day, I went to Okinawa International Street. There are various shops.

My favorite class is Honors English Seminar. Teachers are Ms. Mukai and Mr. Judy. I have this class in the third period on every Friday. I take this class with Hiromi, Kimino and Misaki. There are students who is third grader and forth grader, too. I can learn many things in this class. In the spring term in this year, I discussed about “School uniform is good for us?” and “Vegetarian is good?” I’m not good at discuss, so it was difficult for me to discuss with other people. But other people were very kind to me. When I couldn’t understand what partner said, the partner taught me to it. I was happy. In fall term, I translate put English into Japanese or put Japanese into English. It is more difficult than discuss. But I’m interested in translate job, so I want to hang on it with my class mates.

My favorite place is my hometown. I like the place very much. I can relax when I was in hometown. There are many favorite places. I live in Karyo, kite wars in Kumamoto city. First, my favorite place in my hometown is Ikenoue Center Park. It is very large park. When I was an elementary school and junior high school student, I always go to there with my friends after school. We always play tag, soccer, baseball, and so on. I seldom go to there with them now. I want to go to there with them, and then I want to play. Second is ROUND 1. I often go to there. I have worked at there as part-time job before three months ago. There are karaoke, bowling and spocha. It is very interesting institution. When I worked at there, many my friends in my hometown visited at there. I could meet their at ROUND 1.

[TH 11] My favorite animation

I watch some animations. I especially like “Detective Conan.” This animation is mystery story. This animation is broadcasted from 6 p.m. on every Saturday. I really like this animation. The hero in this animation is Edogawa Conan. But this name isn’t real. His real name is Kudou Shinichi. He is seventeen years old and high school student. He was taken a poison by black organization, and then his body became small. He had become an elementary school student. It looks is child, but his blain is adult. I like him, but I like Kid the phantom thief, too. He is very cool and is good at magic. He often steals some jewels to reveal the truth that his father died. A movie of this animation is broadcasted every year. I especially like the 14^th movie. The title is “The Lost Ship in The Sky.” I went to watch this movie two years ago. It was very good story.

Henry and Henry's big dog Mudge work up one Saturday in February and looked outside. (p.5)
I think that Henry's family is very good after I finished read this book. Henry and henry's big dog Mudge spend boring Saturday. His father spend boring Saturday, too. Therefore their mother proposes something to fun. They decided to make a castle. I haven't ever made something with my family, so I envy this family. One day, Henry and his father plan to surprise their mother. I thought this family is ideal family.

If I had boring weekend, I would like to go to zoo. I don't go to zoo since I was an elementary school student. I want to see many animals. I like penguins very much. They are very cute. I don't like lions. They are little scare. I want go to plants and animals in Kengun.

BR 2-17: Orangutan Language

Like humans, orangutans are members of the scientific group called "primate". (p.2)

I read this book, and then I think that orangutans are very intelligent. Orangutans are so much like humans. And in Malay languages, 'orangutans' actually means 'person of the forest'. Orangutans can understand our words. There are people who study the orangutans' minds and how orangutans think. They are trying to develop orangutans' language skills. Orangutans have individuality, and orangutans learn languages in different ways. I really think orangutans are wonderful, and they really similar to humans.

I think chimpanzees are very wonderful as same as orangutans. I always watch one TV show every Saturday. The TV show is "Shimura zoo." In this book, a chimpanzee that called Pan-kun is appear. Pan-kun can understand human languages. Mr. Shimura say "Come on!", and then Pan-kun run toward Mr. Shimura. And Pan-kun often ran on errands. He can shop. His ability is great.

In this book, histories of various is written. I like to know history of something, so I chose this book. The invention which is the most useful is cellphone. We can take a picture, call, and send an e-mail. I always use e-mail function. I'm not good at call someone up, so I send an e-mail when I have business.

History of safety razors is written in this book. If there weren't safety razors, men couldn't shave their mustache safety. I want to grateful to old people because we can spend convenient life by the grace of them. If there weren't their useful invention, we would spend inconvenient life.

I have some favorite colors. I like warm color better than cold color. I like red. I didn't like this color before, but I became like this color gradually. I liked dark color, for example, black, gray, brown, and so on. So I always bought clothes which have dark color. But I recently buy clothes which have warm color. I associate sunny day with red, while I associate rainy day to cold color. I have warm image to red. I bought red cardigan last year. I haven’t bought red cardigan, so I was worried whether I can wear my red cardigan skillfully. But this cardigan is very useful. I only wear this cardigan and also go up feeling. I often wear this cardigan when I feel depressed. I like orange, too. The other day, I bought sofa which have orange color. I like it very much.

I want to live longer, so I would like to do something good for my health. Now I want to get exercise. There is a gym in my university. I'm busy because I have many things I have to do, for example, home works, part-time job, housework, and so on. So I can't go to the gym. Some of my friends go to the gym sometimes, so I want to go there with them.

There is a sports center which is called Aqua Dome near my house. I lack of exercise, so I find out free time and then I want to go to there. By reading this book, I thought that I have to take a rest and sleep well. I always am staying up late. We should sleep between six and eight hours, otherwise our brain can't work well. And I thought that I need to eat the right food for health. I want to have a good valance meal from now.

Draft Essay 2-02b: My Favorite Place

My favorite place is Ikenoue center Park. This park is in my hometown. I like this place the best all of places. I have a lot of memories in there, so I chose this place as my favorite place. This park is very large. We can play with playground equipment, and play various sports. I often went to the park when I was an elementary school student. I could make many good memories with my friends in there. I want to tell you about the place and my memories in detail.

I like my hometown. I live in Karyo. It is my hometown. There are some interesting places, for example, ROUND 1, Kumamoto Shintoshin Plaza, and so on. My hometown becomes active gradually. There is Kumamoto Station. I think that it is the biggest station in Kumamoto. The Shinkansen was open to traffic last year; so many people come to Kumamoto in weekend. And Kumamoto Shintoshin Plaza opened on Marcn 12th last year. There are library, cafe, and super market in the institution. It is useful institution. There are many good places. I like almost all places in my hometown, but I like Ikenoue Center Park the best in my hometown.

The park is very large park, but there is only slight playground equipment compare with other parks. I often went to the park with my friends after school. I have a lot of good memories there, so I chose this place as my favorite place the best. I used to go to the park about twice a week. However, I absolutely go to there now. The other day, I went to the park with my friend who went to same junior high school with me after a long time. We talk about memories of junior high school. I thought that I was very nostalgic.

When I was an elementary school student, the park was completed. I wanted large park near my house, so I was very happy. I went to the park for the first time as welcome excursion in elementary school. I was surprised at width of the park. There are launching platform, like a water bed, and grass skiing. The excursion was very interesting. Then I often went to the park. I did various plays, for example, tag, hide-and-seek, and so on. And there is a track on land, so I did race, too. I and my local friends like the park very much. But I thought that a swing should just be in the park. I really like swing.

I want to introduce the best memory in there. I and my classmates held class reunion in this park. At first, we ate lunch. There is MOS BURGER shop, so we bought some foods at there. After we ate lunch, we played various games. The most interesting game was a children’s game in which each side tries to seize the other’s home base. This game is called “jintori” in Japanese. It was very interesting. Everyone looked like enjoy. I remember this day very well.

I really like my hometown and the park. I will be able not to forget these memories. I don’t want to forget it. The place is really important place for me. I seldom have an opportunity to go to the park now, but I want to go to the park sometimes. I want to invite my elementary school’s friends. While I wrote this article, I want to go to the park!

English Weekend [second day: part 2]

After we finished take a team picture, we rode a bus to go to fruit picking! I went to fruit picking for the first time, so I was very excited. In the bus, I sat down the seat next to Chihiro. Ayaka.H and Ayaka.Y sat down the seat behind our seat. Hiromi and Asuka sat down the seat diagonal our seat. When we waited for leave at Nishigoshi training institute, Hee Jin held out his cell phone, and he said “Please search for your page on Facebook, and click the button ‘to be a friend’.” I became a friend with exchange student on Facebook for the first time at the time, so I felt so happy. After a while, we left for fruit picking. While I rode a bus, I talked with Chihiro. She is very cute girl. She is very generous girl, I think. “Generous girl” means “ottori” in Japanese. The other day, she appeared on local TV as a beautiful young girl. I missed that TV! I really wanted to watch it! She works at Suganoya with Hiromi. I want to go to the restaurant someday. I ate two onigiris in bus. After I ate two onigiris, I felt asleep until arrive at Youhouen where fruit picking place. About an hour later, we arrived at Youhouen. I went to there for the first time. 

Do you know Youhouen? Have you ever been to there? There is famous place as fruit picking place in Kumamoto prefecture. But I didn't know... My father knows that, too. The place is in Kawachi town in Kumamoto city. This town is a little near my hometown. I often go to the town with my family. My father often gets a lot of oranges from person who is in Kawachi. It are very delicious. In Youhouen, there are oranges, grapes, pears, and so on. This time, we picked pears at first. After we picked it, and then we cut it and eat on the spot. It was so delicious. To tell the truth, I don’t like pear so much. I like apples better than pear… But I felt that it was delicious. Next, we picked oranges. I like it very much. I picked a lot of oranges. I took many pictures with my friends at the time. We picked fruit for about two hours. And then, we came back to KGU. Before we came back to KGU, we took set photograph. Mr. Tomei published the picture on Facebook, so I saved this picture.

About at 4 p.m. we came back to KGU. I took part in English Weekend, and that was very good. I was thankful for Hiromi because she invited to me. If she didn’t invite me, I didn’t go to this event. I could spend so great time with students, exchange students, and teachers. Dear staffs of English Weekend, thank you for your kind. I like to communicate with exchange student more. I would like to go to English Lounge. And I want to speak to exchange students positively. I will never forget these memories.

English Weekend [second day: part 1]

Second day, on October 7^th, I got up at 7 a.m. I was very tired and lack of sleep. I stayed up later before the day. After I drunk alcohols, I talked about various things with my friends. It was so fun time. I could know various things about them♡ I maybe fell asleep at 3 a.m. So I felt tired and lack of sleep this day. Asuka got up at 6 a.m. I was surprised. I couldn’t wake up so early. I respect her! I want to be like Asuka! We finished preparation, and then we ate breakfast. We ate breads, banana, and yogurt. It was delicious. I really like it. And I ate miso soup with pork and vegetables. It was the leftovers from last night’s supper. I was full!

And then, we played games. We played quiz, train game, and gesture game. I really enjoyed with everyone. In the quiz game, I foresaw that right answer with Tony. Everyone was good at gesture, so I could foresee some right answer. Tony is very friendly, I think. Our team could answer almost all correct answer. It was very interesting. In the train game, I played this game after a long time! Maybe I played this game when I was an elementary school student…wow At first, I paired with Chihiro. And then, we did scissors-paper-rock with other pair. We couldn’t win…lol Next, we did quiz game. It was very interesting, too! Ayaka was stood in front of everyone, and she thought correct answer. I took her picture at the time! In this picture, she looks like very thinking about correct answer. This picture is my favorite one.

After we finished all games, we cleaned up in this training institute. There were many dusts. It was dirty. I like to clean up something, so I hang on with member of our team. After we finished cleaned up, we heard words from a head of this institute. We drunk many alcohols and stayed up later last night, so we might give trouble for him… I’m really thankful to a head of this institute. If there were an opportunity to make use of this institute, I want to make use of this institute carefully. This institute is very important for me because I could make a lot of good memories. I could be get along with everyone in the department of English last year. And I could communicate with many students in KGU and exchange students.

Then we left for fruit picking. When I left this institute, I gave two onigiris. I choose salmon onigiri and okaka onigri. I like these onigiri very much, but I seldom eat these onigiris. So I felt so happy♪ And then, we took a picture of own team. I want this picture, but I don’t know who has this picture. If someone knows that, please teach me! While other team took a picture, I took picture with friends and exchange student. And talk with them.

[TH 9] My favorite shoes

My favorite shoes are sneakers. I don’t like shoes which have high heel, so I like sneakers. I have a black sneaker. I bought black sneaker in Fukuoka. In this July, I went to Fukuoka to go to Ayaka’s live. At the time, I went to shopping with my friend. We went to CANAL CITY. There are many shops. We went to one shop. The shop is Vans. This store is shoes shop. The shop was having a sale on shoes. Almost all shoes had become half price. I just wanted black sneaker, so I decided to buy black sneaker. My friend, Rika bought same sneaker, too. I really like this shoe. I always wear the shoes when I go on an outing. There is no heel, so my leg does not get tired. I want more sneakers. Next, I want red sneaker.

BR 2-14: A New School

"You will look after your sister today, won't you? It's her first day at school." (p.2)

I don't like a new school term much because I'm not good at new environment. I'm not good at communication with new people, so it does take long time to make friends. When I was a first-year pupil, I couldn't get along with others. So I always spoke to my childhood friend at first. I wanted to go to elementary school with my sisters like Sunita who appears in this book, but my sisters is much older than I am. So I couldn't go to school with my sisters. After a short time, I could acclimate myself to new environment, and I could make friends.

In junior high school, almost all my friends went to same school with me, so I didn't worry about new environment. In junior high school, I could make best friend. In high school, I couldn't make friends. Like the time when I was an elementary school student, I was tormented by human relations. But everyone were very kind to me, so I could get along with them. I think that I'm living a comfortable life with kind people. In future, new environment will wait for me, but I want to hang on.

English Weekend [first day: part 2]

After we ate lunch, we played a game, fruit basket. I really like this game. When I went to freshman camp last year, I played this game. It was really interesting. In this game, if there are person who can’t sit on the mat, the person have to do punishment game! This time, Junpei and Asuka did punishment game. Asuka did “hip words.” In Japanese, we said “shiri-moji.” In this punishment, we have to write something word own hip. I think that this punishment game is very shame punishment game… So I really don’t want to do this punishment game. On the other hand, Junpei dressed as a woman. It was very funny!lol I took the picture, but I don’t want to publish in this article…lol I want everyone to look this picture! If there are people who want to look this picture, I will show you this picture!

After we finished the game, we had a free time. Asuka brought cards, so I played cards with Hiromi, Ayaka.Y, Ayaka. H, Asuka, Chihiro, and Sam. I talked with Sam for the first time at the time. He wore yukata which he bought in England. We played “Daihugou.” I like this cards game very much! When I was a high school student, I always played this cards game with my friends after school or break time. This game has many rules. But I don’t know only few rules. I was very laugh because Ayaka.H was very interesting. How to distribute her cards is very interesting. Everyone were very laugh. I want to play Daihugou with Ayaka!lol We played cards many times in English Weekend. Ayaka always distributed cards!

Then we ate dinner. We ate rice cooked with meat, fish, vegetables, etc. and pork miso soup. It was very delicious. I like it very much. And then, we went to Benten. It is hot spring institute. I really wanted to go to hot spring, so I really happy. I took a hot spring bath with Ayaka.H, Chihiro, and Eriko. The hot spring was very comfortable. It was very pleasant. We took an open-air bath. The wind in outside was little cold, but hot spring was very warm. When we took an open-air bath, Mia and Heather came. We little talked. They are very cute. We relaxed at the hot spring for about an hour, and then we came back to training institute.

After we came back to training institute, and then we played bingo game. I like this game as same as fruit basket and Daihugou! I’m very exciting when I play bingo game. The reason why I exciting is there are a chance to get a prize. In freshman camp, I got bead cushion. I was very glad. I remember that well. I expect to get a prize this time, but I couldn’t get a prize… I was sad. I wanted something prize!lol But I had very good time. In the night, we had drinking party. We went to convenience store to buy some alcohol. I bought two cocktail and suminof. I want to try to drink suminof, so I decided to buy this alcohol. It was delicious for me. Everyone’s tension was very high! Everyone was interesting. In midnight, we went to bed. I could spend really great time in first day.

English Weekend [first day: part 1]

I went to English Weekend last month. I want to write about the event this time!

First, I knew about one event which is called “English Weekend” will be held on October 6^th to 7^th, but I didn’t have planned to go to the event. I was interested in the event at first. But I’m not good at speak English, so I thought that I can’t communicate with exchange student well even if I take part in the event. One day, I received a message from my friend, Hiromi in LINE. LINE is application software of smartphone or iPhone. Almost all my friends use the application software. It is one of my favorite application software. I received this message, “Do you know English Weekend? I want to take part in this event. Someone should participate in this event together?” When I received this message, I thought that I want to participate in this event. So I decided to go to this event. If I haven’t received this message from Hiromi, I would not have been to this event. After all, I would go to this event with Hiromi, Ayaka.H, Ayaka.Y, Chihiro, and Asuka. They are my peers in university. 

On first day, October 6^th, we gathered at KGU at 10 a.m. There are some people who seemed to go to English Weekend. I was very nervous at the time. There are a lot of people who I don’t know. I’m shy. I talked to one woman while I was nervous. She is Ms. Yukiko. She is very beautiful! I was surprised. I got a paper written about schedule of this event. The team of this event was written in this paper. My team member is Ms. Yukiko, Mr. Hiromu, Tsubasa, Tony, Mr. Yasuo, Momoko, GyoungMin, Kaede, Yayoi, Yuichi, and Chihiro. I was same team with Chihiro, so I felt easy. If she wasn't same team with me, I would felt anxiety. While I rode a bus, I sat down the seat next to Ayaka. Y. She is very cute girl. We talk about various things. It was very fun time. 

We left to KGU at about 11 a.m., and then we arrived at Nishigoshi training institute. I have been to the institute last year as freshman camp, so I felt nostalgic. I could make a lot of good memories in the freshman camp. I became friend with many people in department of English. So this training institute is memorable place for me. At first, the orientation was held. I saw many exchange students for the first time at there. I was very exciting. I wanted to talk with them early. Then we ate lunch. We ate tacos. I ate it after a long time. It was delicious. I like it very much. I had forgotten to take the picture! OMG! lol I like cheese very much, so I put many cheese in tacos. I filled the belly very much. HAPPY BIRTHDAY☆

Today, on November 12th, is my friend, Mari's birth day. She became twenty years old today. She is cheerful girl, I think. I have an image that she always laughing. I can be fine when I talk with her. I have a lot of pictures of her. These are very interesting. When I see these pictures, I laugh to myself about reminiscence. She is from Saga prefecture. She belonged to soccer team in her high school. She likes to play soccer and watch soccer games. We often talk about soccer. We want to go to sports bar in downtown! It sounds very interesting! I want to cheer for Japanese soccer team, Zack Japan! I really like to watch soccer games. The other day, I and Mari said, “Let’s go to watch a preliminary game for world cup in 2014!” I wish this promise will be come true.

On November 10^th, is Hinako’s birth day. She became twenty years old, too. She is very very very interesting girl. I really like her. Our hometown is near. I live in Karyo. She lives in Akita. We often meet in KGU liner. She went to Daiichi high school. My friends who went to the high school in my local friends know her. Everyone says that Hinako is very interesting. She belongs to circle of photo. In high school, she belonged to Japanese archery club. She works at Tsuruya. She looks like enjoy her every day.

I really like Mari and Hinako. They are interesting. In the department of English, there are many interesting people. So I can spend interesting every day thanks for the people. I go into this department, and think that it was very good. There are many things which we have to do, for example, homework, homework, and homework… lol But I can hang on everything. I can meet everybody of this department, and thing that it was really good! Happy birthday, Mari and Hinako!!!

[TH 8] My favorite drink

My favorite drink is a carbonic drink. I always buy carbonic drink. I especially like Mitsuya cider. I like it the best of all drinks. I like to drink it after I get exercise. I think that the carbonic acid of this drink is very strong, so my throat will become painful if I chug Mitsuya cider. But I can’t stopping to chug it. I often drink plum liqueur. I mix plum liqueur with Mitsuya cider. It is very delicious for me. The other day, my acquaintance gave me to plum liqueur. I buy Mitsuya cider, and then I want to drink plum liqueur. I like Calpis soda, too. I like Calpis soda better than Calpis water. It is sold at the vending machine of my university, so I often buy it in university even if I have tea. I want to drink it now!

BR 2-13: Taiko Master

I'm interested in taiko, so I chose this book. My high school has taiko club. The taiko club is very strong team, so the team wins many prizes. My high school is famous for wadaiko. I think almost people know wadaiko. It is a powerful musical instrument. When I was a high school student, I had an opportunity to watch performance of wadaiko. When I listened to the performance for the first time, I was surprised and moved. Their performance was very excellent. The tear flowed spontaneously.

Some of my friends belonged to the taiko club. They held out practice very much. I know their effort. The club held open practice, so I often went to watch their practice. My friend, Akihisa belonged to the taiko club in high school, and he belong to professional taiko team. He can't bring his cellphone, so none of us can't contact with him. I can't know about his recent condition, but I think that he hold out his practice as hard as he can. I'm looking forward to watch his activity on big stage.

I like almost all places in my hometown, but I like Ikenoue Center Park the best in my hometown.

The park is very large park, but there is only slight playground equipment. I often went to the park with my friends after school. I have a lot of good memories there, so I chose this place as my favorite place the best. I used to go to the park about twice a week. However, I absolutely go to there now. The other day, I went to the park with my friend who went to same junior high school with me after a long time. We talk about memories of junior high school. I thought that I was very nostalgic.

When I was an elementary school student, the park was completed. I wanted large park near my house, so I was very happy. I went to the park for the first time as welcome excursion in elementary school. I was surprised at width of the park. There are launching platform, like a water bed, and grass skiing. The excursion was very interesting. Then I often went to the park. I did various plays, for example, tag, hide-and-seek, and so on. And there is a track on land, so I did race, too. I and my local friends like the park very much. But I thought that a swing should just be in the park. I really like swing.

I really like my hometown and the park. I will be able not to forget these memories. I don't want to forget it. A part of the park has gone out of use now. But many children go to the park in the afternoon and after school. The place is really important place for me. I seldom have an opportunity to go to the park now, but I want to go to the park sometimes. While I wrote this article, I want to go to the park!

I have three favorite shops. These are in Kumamoto PARCO. I often go to PARCO to shopping. I like PARCO very much. Since I have not done some shopping recently, I would like to go shopping soon. First favorite shop is RETLO GIRL. The store is in the seventh floor. I always buy clothes because the shop is very cheap. I bought a skirt last month. It is very cute, so I really like it. Second favorite shop is LOWRYS FARM. This shop is in the second floor. Although the things of this store are somewhat expensive, its design of a thing is very lovely. I bought a dress last month in this store. Third favorite shop is JELLY BEANS. It is a shoes shop. This shop is in the sixth floor. I want to buy boots in this store.
